RESISTING COMMODIFICATION

South African poets are up in arms over the sudden flooding of the poetry market with cheap Chinese imports. Poet Bertold Mohlaletsi, who has recently spent a year in China, said it was unlikely that the poems were being written by children in sweatshops or by machines.
